i see it gives u the option to browse and get the music from your computer but where do you get the music if u dont have it on your computer
this is a 2 part process i was told to do to get a player with multiple tracks on my space but now i'm stuck on how u get the music into file den

to upload from an internet source:: you must download it to whatever computer you are using. then UPLOAD it to your fileden account. if the computer that the file is on, is not yours, delete it OFF OF THE COMPUTER FILES once you've uploaded it, INTO YOUR FILEDEN FILES.

to upload from your computer:: just follow the second half of uploading from an internet source.

if you're looking to put a song on your profile, use this code::

autostart:: "true"- starts up with profile. "false"- viewer has to press "play" to hear the song.

loop:: "true"- song repeats itself. "false"- song stops after one play.

hidden:: "true"- the player is unable to be seen in profile. "false"- player is there for viewer to pause, play, etc.

volume:: "###"- "1" being the lowest, "100" being the highest.

if you want a PLAYLIST, use this.

use JUST the URL of the song. follow the directions given there. they give you color options, and autostart options.

simple. use www.fileden.com , of course!

just log in.

click Upload.

Browse.

find your Music song file.

click.

then press Upload/Submit!

and you're done.

please, don't hesitate to ask anything else.

*tip!: ONLY upload MUSIC files that end in .mp3

don't use .mpeg4 (iTunes) or .wma (Windows Media Player)

if it's not automatically and .mp3 file, either re-upload the CD to "Real Player" or...if you have to,

burn the song(s) onto a NEW BLANK CD in "Real Player"

naw. i do it all the time...

i have like...5 songs now? i try to use this for music, minimumly...and ONLY for music.

try making a second account, ONLY for music files. then report back your results.

Hi Heroin, just to say we don't allow multiple accounts and that if multiple accounts are found you risk it being terminated / suspended.

Sylvr - you must be viewing the public file upload instead of the registered upload. After logging in make sure you go to www.fileden.com/upload.php you should then be able to upload any music file.

i see how u get it but can u convert a wma song into a mp3?

i'm trying to upload music from my computer, even though it's on itunes the file names all end with .mp3. I browse, select the file, and when i click on choose, even though a file appears on a list with a blank paper icon, a small window pops up saying the application failed. I ignored this and when I clicked upload, nothing happened, the page reloaded and there where no files on my list. Can anybody help? Thanks
