Customizing your profile

You know how on Myspace and Youtube you can change your background and add a cursor, well was wondering if you could do that. It would be SO much cooler and you'd attract more friends :D .

I could see some benefits to this, but FileDen isn't a social networking site.

Disadvantages: This isn't MySpace, and the purpose of FileDen is for storing files -- not your fancy profile or making friends. I really don't want to visit a profile and suddenly leave just because of their shiny background or complicated cursor or loud music.

Advantages: If the codes were limited (for example, just a color-scheme change), it would make profiles more personalized and help with self-promotion. After all, when you upload files, you might as well show them off with some sort of appropriately-themed "home page." Plus, since everyone likes Web sites with a feeling of community, it will help people join and therefore increase the amount of users and activity.
