I have music that i create with Propellerhead and i want to load it into FileDen so that i can stream it to myspace. I got a free account and i want to upload ---- But i don't know if people will be able to "steal" my songs off of this website?????

From what i can tell it appears that the source URL isn't displayed to anyone that is viewing the page right?

If it isn't can you tell me any other way someone could download that MP3?

If you could help that would be great.

its pretty easy to download that mp3, they look in the source for the xml file, and open that, and then it will tell them the url for the mp3, or they can always sound record it. but not many people know how to do that. so ur kinda safe. like Mituozo said " No matter where you upload your file, if it's being displayed to the public it can be stolen. "

Hi ghost,

No matter where you upload your file, if it's being displayed to the public it can be stolen. The best way to prevent this is to use an embedded flash player on your myspace page so that people can't find the source code.

This is not entirely the case when hiding a link with an imbedded player makes it a little more difficult but armed with a little 'source code' knowledge one can extract the URL of the file. but for ethical reasons I will not disclose how to do this here.
