Hello,

I'm making this post to give you a chance to try and improve our service.

It's currently only one question:

Where did you find out about File Den?

from a list of free file hosts, sorted by rating

fileden was 2nd *by rating* to quicksharing.com, i tried that,...didnt let me do images + it got errors with other types of files

Warning: Unknown(): write failed: No space left on device (28) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown(): Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0

so i went to fileden.com, tried it once without registering, then registered and never found a flaw in it yet

put in ftp access and ill promo it to every random i meet that the topic drifts towards

im currently grinding my teath to dust with the web gui ull never know if its goning to work till after you wait forever...

Yeah, we plan to integrate an upload meter into the system at some point, until now I'm afraid you'll have to live through it. FTP access will be a future feature of paid user accounts also.

Thanks.

I found File Den at Google, looking for a file hosting service with direct links :)

fileden is actively promoted as one of the best free-hosting sites in the myspace forums, and that's how I found it.

Well I won't beat around the bush here, Fileden has been a reliable and useful tool for hosting my msn space content, I was using another site, but they couldn't organise a p*ss up in a brewery, and there advertising tactics are somewhat annoying, as they replace your images with there own crap advertising. You upload files like zips and can't link to them, without being sent to looped advertising instead of your file. USELESS!

I continue to recommend you to all my friends and space visitors.
Keep up the good work Fileden... Puniksem

I found out about this site from Poqbum when I tried the flash mp3 player. This is much better than another site*, which I had used previously for my files. Not only is this free, but this offers more space, and this is much, much faster than another site*. another site* was set up to intentionally make files larger than like 500 kbs load very slowly, to discourage the hosting of large files. So you can just forget about uploading music to it.

The only advantage with another site* is that it has absolutely no bandwidth limit, but that is okay, for 20 gb is more than generous for us. Unless someone had uploaded huge files, it would be almost impossible to run out in a month.

This is also much better than another site*, because it does not scale down your pictures or reduce the quality of them. So you can go ahead and upload wallpapers with no fears!

So, overall, I'm completely satisfied with this service, and I feel that there needn't be any improvements to be made on it. Thank you for creating such a fast and reliable host.

One more thing, though, why did Poqbum switch from FileDen to ******?

They switched to ****** because ****** offered them more money for the link to put it fairly simply. I believe they're paying a huge amount of money for that text link.

I used to used another file storage site but they are unreliable, when I want to upload a file I have a hard time navigating to the upload page because of adds and such, then when I get there It's a bitch to upload files because it keeps failing. So far with fileden it only "failed" once, but my upload still got uploaded. I think the second "failure" was my own fault though.

EDIT:: Yeah, I like speed that it uploads at, It's pretty quick compared to some hosts I have tried where it takes like 20 minutes to upload a 5 MB file. I just uploaded 10 files in like 20 minutes.

I'm afraid my review wouldn't be very good. I paid yesterday for Premium Service, my Paypal payment went through immediately, but I have no bandwidth.

This has caused big problems for me, and yet you cannot be bothered to reset my bandwidth, even after an email exchange with you yesterday, William Steward.

I am very upset and disappointed in the lack of professionalism.

Edited: This matter was resolved, your problem happened during the holiday period.

I heard about fileden from 2 sources.

1. A friend on myspace.
2. The owner of freddyizbadd.com (http://www.freddyizbadd.com) is also a friend and recommended it.

I found out about FileDen due to a websearch for Data Storage sites. I also use another one of these sites, but I've always found FileDen to be more reliable.
